Animal Emergency Center Dedicated Services

At Animal Emergency Center, we are committed to providing comprehensive, advanced diagnostic and treatment services to support the highest standard of emergency and critical care. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and staffed by skilled professionals, allowing us to deliver timely, accurate diagnoses and effective treatment for a wide range of medical and surgical conditions.

Veterinary Reference Laboratory:

Our on-site, full-service accredited diagnostic laboratory enables us to perform rapid (STAT) and routine testing with exceptional accuracy. Having rapid access to advanced laboratory results allows our medical team to make prompt, informed decisions in critical situations. Our laboratory services include hematology (complete blood counts), blood chemistry analysis, endocrinology testing, coagulation studies, and microbiology, all essential components in diagnosing and managing complex medical cases.

Advanced Diagnostic, Monitoring, and Therapeutic Equipment:
Our hospital is equipped with sophisticated monitoring and treatment tools designed to support critically ill and injured patients. These capabilities allow us to continuously assess and respond to changes in your pet’s condition in real time. Services and equipment include:

    ●     Electrocardiography (ECG) and telemetry for continuous cardiac monitoring

    ●     Comprehensive vital sign monitoring, including blood pressure, pulse oximetry, ECG, and capnography

    ●     Oxygen supplementation and advanced respiratory therapy

    ●     Fully equipped surgical suite for emergency and soft tissue surgeries

    ●     Medical Laser for precise therapeutic treatments, using targeted light energy to reduce pain and inflammation, promote tissue healing, and accelerate recovery in injured or post-surgical patients.

    ●     Isolation ward for intensive care of patients with infectious diseases

Digital Radiology

We utilize advanced True DR digital radiography to obtain high-resolution images quickly and efficiently. This technology enhances diagnostic precision while minimizing wait times. When necessary, radiographic images can be securely transmitted to board-certified specialists or veterinary radiologists for expert interpretation, ensuring the most accurate assessment and treatment planning for your pet.

Dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU):
Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is specifically designed to provide around-the-clock care for critically ill patients requiring close observation and advanced medical support. Staffed 24 hours a day by trained veterinary professionals, our ICU allows for continuous monitoring, rapid intervention, and individualized treatment plans even when our facility is closed to new emergencies. Remaining staffed 24/7 allows us to continue giving the ongoing care needed to fully recover our patients. We are committed to delivering attentive, compassionate care to stabilize and support patients through even the most serious medical emergencies.
End of Life Care:

We understand that saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest moments you’ll face. Euthanasia services are offered if you decide that a humane, painless passing is in your pet's best interest. Our clinic is here to support both you and your pet with gentle, compassionate end-of-life care focused on comfort, dignity, and peace. We take the time to listen to your wishes, answer your questions, and guide you through each step so you never feel alone in the process. Whether it’s managing pain, creating a calm environment, or helping you make difficult decisions, our goal is to ensure your pet’s final moments are as comfortable and loving as the life you shared together. If you would like to be present with your pet during their passing, our care staff will briefly take your pet to the treatment area to place an IV catheter. We do this to ensure you are able to give comfort and love to your pet when the time comes for the doctor to administer the medications. We will bring your pet back promptly so that you can spend as much time with them as you would like. In the event that you cannot be present, our team will ensure we make your pet feel safe and comfortable in their final moments.

Care of Remains:

Our clinic utilizes Animal Care Services for cremation. If you would like your pet to be cremated with their remains returned to you, there are many options available for urns, boxes, or specialized charms. A link to their catalog with these options is posted below.

If you prefer to transport your pet for an at-home burial, we can provide you with a dignity wrap. Designed with care, it allows you to move your pet safely and respectfully while maintaining their dignity and honoring their memory.
